My Mom…

Dear Mom,

I wanted to take time on Mother’s Day to write you a letter.

I am very honored to have you as my Mother. I enjoy that you are even more than my Mom. You are my workout partner, my scrabble mate, my friend and my encourager. You have supported me in my growing and changing. You have cheered me on through education and professional endeavors. You care if my hang nail hurts and you have sat by me in the hospital as I have recovered from major surgery. You have communicated support and unconditional love in these last years as I strive to drop weight and become the woman I desire to be. I am thankful….

As I am now living in my 40’s, I am so very proud of the woman you are. You are generous in many ways and you desire an honest relationship with all you love. You have struggled well and are able to live content. For that I admire your strength and courage.

There is much to say and yet in this letter, I really want to communicate how much I appreciate you!

I hope I have many more Mother’s Days with you but may I never miss a chance to say I love you and enjoy each day with you!

All my love,

Trish

  1. I am touched by your words…and wow, all those pictures. Do know that it works both ways. I receive from you as much, and more, than I give. I am blessed.
    Love you!
