As some of you know, I am recovering from Achilles tendon surgery. I had one foot done on December 20th and the other on February 2oth. When I am in a state of recovery, I realize how much I miss my daily rhythms. While living my daily rhythms, I long for space to live without an agenda. Can you relate that when you have one good thing, you often long for a different good thing? We are complex in our longings and desires.
While in recovery, I am using an adaptive tool to aid me in getting in and out of the house without weight bearing. As a result of the advertisement videos, I could put this on and run a marathon. Let me tell you, that is not true.
This tool does make it so I can go up and down a few steps, but walking independently is a big challenge. I use my walker and pray myself through every step.
When I live honestly in my struggle, I know that life isn’t about my downtime or routines; it isn’t about longing for the next best thing. May I never forget how grateful I am for the ability to move, walk down steps, take a breath, offer myself to others because I have enough to share, and so much more? May I long for meaningful impact and life-giving moments, bring hope and inspiration, and live with courage and intention.
I want to keep the important the important and let the rest go. May I choose the words I speak with care and remember that I can build up or tear down.
I hope you live today and each day so that when you lay your head down at the end of the day, you can reflect on the goodness you have offered and, hopefully, the goodness provided back to you.
Go and make the world a better place, my friends, by living with a heart full of gratitude and generous spirit and offering hope and inspiration to others. ❤️ Trish

Do you ever feel fatigued and need to be reminded to keep trying?
On my good days, I live in moments. I have not mastered this every day, but I can slow my mind, body, and soul on my good days and sync them together to live in the moment.

I came across this thought last week. My imagination has had some fun considering this concept. I am not much of a museum fan, but when I think of the museum of my heart, I surely want to buy the first ticket!
I once had a tapestry party. It was a bit like the museum open house. I invited people from all seasons of my life. It was put together by those closest to my heart (my parents and siblings). I wrote each guest a letter about how because I knew them, I had been changed for good. It was a glorious evening of being loved and giving love!
Recently, I took a yoga class. We spent time on breathing, as every yoga class does. I was surprised at how difficult breathing can be. I have some things to learn about the power and practice of breathing.

I am grateful for every good report I hear, but I find it cumbersome sometimes to ensure people place their good words in a suitable space to ensure we receive credit and our score is on the higher end of the average franchise. I often say the competition will not drive me, but I do find myself hoping that people will respond to the requests to share their experiences. We are sure to say that we ask for an honest reflection of their total experience, letting people know we are open to hearing all the feedback they wish to bring.
During an intake call, when we asked how they heard about Visiting Angels if it is not a personal connection, it is often because they have read their Google reviews.
If you have worked for or utilized our services, I invite you to practice using the Google tool to increase the referrals submitted. We value your feedback and welcome your input! Click here and look for write a review buttone on the right of the page!
