Give up!
O’Neal has reminded us of this Winston Churchill saying. It can easily be memorized and used in many contexts, but during these two weeks, I have had to repeat it often in my thoughts.
It doesn’t need much explanation and although I could add lots of thoughts, I will keep this blog simple. As you go through difficult things in the next hours, days or weeks, I would encourage you to remember this famous saying AND apply it.
I wonder what will change in your life if you stick with it….lots has changed in mine!

Trish, we continue to gather information about the human trafficking here in the Dominican Republic and it is overwhelming to me. What is God orchestrating in all of this? Your blog continues to inspire and motivate me. Because of how overwhelming this is for me I can’t even begin form a plan as to what to do. Then I think of how you pursued me at my first SALTS, how Sandy used what she learned from her marriage counseling with Dan and I think I CAN do something … I can take some steps …but I don’t ever want to give up … NEVER. You’re pushing forward, taking steps when you cannot see the results or know waht they are … it motivates me to keep pressing on. I am thankful for the way you impact my life and I am in your balcony cheering you on! hugs and prayers
